Went metal detecting yesterday

Found about $1 in coins, 1 wheat penny, fishing weights and 3 sterling rings.
Ring on the left has a dark red stone, the ring on the right I believe was made in Italy. Not sure of the age of the rings.

Not the best looking rings but silver is silver, Hope to find gold today.

RE: So you still want ot go fulltime? Are you nuts?

Reluctant Camper consider workamping at a Army corps park. free rent and utilities for 20 hours work. Im even getting free wifi. Its not hard work and you really get to meet some great people.
With a bad back you could possibly work in the office, answering phones and doing paperwork.

RE: US 97--Oregon--Madras/Bend Campgrounds???

And if ya have time, check out hwy 31 out of la pine. They got the "hole in the ground", "Fort Rock" its kinda cool. get directions at fort rock for the "crack in the ground" and the "ice caves".
The diversion is near, (Small trout lake) mostly only locals know about it. Or grab any dirt road off hwy 31 and explore. Good to have a 4 wheel drive and gps in these areas.
my mom lives in the area so i kinda know the area.

RE: Geico insurance and road service

My story with Geico goes like this.....
Breakdown on I-45 between Dallas and Houston, Call Geico tell them about my truck and 5th wheel. They say ok tow is on the way. Tow truck driver shows up and says im too big to pull. Call Geico tell them tow operator says im too big i need a bigger tow truck.
Geico's tow policy has now changed. "Im sorry sir we only tow your truck". So you want me to leave my home (RV) on the side of the road with everything i own in it and that you are covering with full coverage and replacement value!! "yes sir" Idiot...click.
Finally found a tow to a rv park 15-20 miles away, $150 out of my pocket. Replaced the fuel pump myself and back on the road to Surfside.

RE: HHO Hydrogen Generator again, sorry

While I am not quite as skeptical as you, I am intrigued by the reported non-scientific results. I also wonder where this idea came from. There seem to be many players in the field who range from tinkering in the garage to somewhat advanced abilities.
Perhaps someone familiar with the patent web sites can see if this is based on an expired patent?
Here are some of Stanley Meyers Patents.

Ronn Motor Company Building New Generation of Hydrogen Cars
06/3/2008
Ronn Motor Co. unveiled the key to a new generation of green cars by revealing the nuts and bolts of what it expects will help drive down consumers' cost to travel the highways with on demand hydrogen production. The new car, now in pre-production, is called the Scorpion, and the Company plans for it to be available to consumers this fall. The hydrogen delivery system with dual computer processor controls produces hydrogen on demand, and in real time, which will be inducted through the air intake manifold and blended with gasoline at a ratio of 30-40% hydrogen, according to Maxwell. The fuel for this system is derived from fracturing water molecules drawn from a small on board water tank, and will not require a high pressure, on board hydrogen storage tank or hydrogen fueling station.

RE: HHO Hydrogen Generator again, sorry

Ya i started a thread on this several months ago. Lots of negitivity then, but this topic is getting hot on the net.
Thought this video was interesting. 2 guys making and testing a HHO generator. Was amazed at the amount of HHO they produced with 2 amps.
Here’s what we show in this clip:
1. the test fuel cell hanging in pure water, with 2 amps DC running through it and producing hydrogen and oxygen (two hydrogen for one oxygen, which is the explosive HHO mixture)
2. the HHO fuel cell in its case and bubbling the hydrogen gas through water, which we timed and caught in a jar to measure production.
3. the HHO hydrogen generator bubbling into soapy water, so we can catch the bubbles to light them with a BBQ lighter. This is really loud, like ear splitting. It’s hard to believe how much force there is in just a little of this gas.
4. the hydrogen fuel cell hooked up and running the HHO to a Ford half ton. We used an older vehicle, just in case something went wrong. Expendable trucks first, please!
HHO
Third video clip down.
